Project: Dutch premiere of 'Helvetica' documentary

My Little Underground: Organizer / Concept / Moderator
In conjunction with Gary Hustwit, the director of 'Helvetica', I organized the Dutch premiere of his film. The result was two sold-out screenings at the classic cinema/bar Kriterion. As part of the event, my favorite designers Experimental Jetset had a group of their second-year design students from the Rietveld Academy come out and do some custom-painted window lettering and an exhibition of Helvetica-themed remix posters of their favorite films.
After the first screening we organized a panel discussion witch included Dutch design legend and Helvetica star Wim Crouwel, Marco Walser from Swiss design group Electrosmog, Joost Daamen from the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam and of course Gary himself. A big thanks goes out to all the Rietveld Students, Experimental Jetset, Vi Nguyen from Kriterion, Patta for the love and the money and my co-moderator Rufus Ketting.
